Rick's Dive 'N Travel Center was founded April 15th, 1978 by Rick Newton. From the first location of 1400 sq. ft. and later to a 3500 sq. ft. store, Rick's continued to grow with plans underway for a State-of-the-art diver training center which evolved in 1985. Rick's 7500 sq. ft. Dive Center boasts a deep heated indoor diver training pool, classrooms, men & ladies locker rooms, offices, service center, showroom and a private customer sun deck. Rick & Robyn Newton continue to be active owners and operators of Rick's Dive 'N Travel Center Inc. today. Our business has not only allowed us to take divers to the far corners of the world and meet some of the greatest people in the world, but also to share our love of scuba diving and the underwater excitement with customers we proudly call "OUR FRIENDS".

Over the years Rick's has received many awards from manufacturers and trade associations. Rick's was selected as one of the worlds best designed dive centers by "Diving World" magazine in 1990, selected by PADI as one of their top retailers in 1993 and voted Arkansas' Best Dive Center in the Arkansas Democrat/Gazette in 1997 & 1998. Featured on the front page in the Arkansas Business Weekly, May 2000. Through the years of hard work and employee dedication, Rick's has set the standard for attention to detail and excellence in customer service.
