Like a golfer, hunter or fisherman, you will want to make sure you
purchase quality dive equipment
if you are going to be a diver and at
60' you don't want to find out you didn't select the right equipment or
received the best advice! At Rick's.....we make sure that won't happen
if you give us the feed back during our initial consultation!
Here are some simple facts to ponder:
The Internet sellers
(probably not even a diver and may not even be stateside) are selling dive equipment at its
"basic worth," with little to no information, unassembled, in
the box and not registered. Can you get a better price by ordering on the
Internet? Maybe & Maybe NOT. While the net may be a good source
for gathering information, it's usually not good for providing
service. Basically, they have no
future or long term concerns about you period...WE DO ! So it usually comes down to
price or value.

At Rick's Dive 'N
Travel Center, you will be dealing with professional diving Instructors, not
just a diving individual. You are able to see and try on what you have
selected first. All the catalogs, sizing charts and
pictures are no substitute for actually being fitted properly
by one of our diving professionals. We assemble your diving system,
configured to your specific needs and absolutely guarantee the
fit in our center and our indoor heated pool at no extra
charge. This will eliminate buying twice or having buyers
remorse! Trying before buying is paramount!

We will make sure that you are fully aware of all the features and
benefits of the equipment you have selected and that you are
trained in the purpose and use of the functions & features at no extra charge.

Our staff will do everything
possible to help you stay within your budget, and to make sure
you get the most "bang for your buck". After
completing our Personal Information Diving Form, we will have a
better idea assisting you toward the selection of diving
products that will most benefit your diving desires.
Someone MUST ask you a series of questions to help make sure
that you have
purchased the correct products. You want to only do this once,
IF you buy the correct products and fitted properly. Of course, the final decision is
yours.

We will also complete and register all
of the warranty information for you and here to instantly
resolve any warranty issues that may arise at no extra charge.
Mail order products are not covered by a national warranty if it's
purchased from an unauthorized dealer and there are
plenty out there waiting to remove your money from your pocket.
We have literally replaced a customers instrument console after
he slipped and fell on his instrument console as he was stepping off his dock
and replaced it at NO CHARGE. While we may not always be able to
do something like this, we are confident in our selection of vendors to help
out when it's necessary.

We advise you when your annual
service is due, usually a month in advance and here to
honor all manufacturers' warranties & updates for you at
no extra charge.

You are always welcome to come "take a dive" in our
indoor heated pool to refresh your diving skills or get
"reacquainted" with your equipment at no charge.
Those that may possibly be considering making a career either
thru our Divemaster or Instructor Program must use equipment
consistent with what our store provides. This comfort
and safety issue runs deep in the roots of our personal philosophy
and in the best interest of our students as well.

All appropriate products that we offer include a full U.S.
warranty. Unlike most items that are purchased overseas which
won't be included with a U.S. warranty. Rick's Dive 'N Travel
Center only stocks products that will be eligible for full
U.S. warranties to protect our customers for years down the
road. Another point to ponder is dive travel with our center.
If you travel with us and had a problem with equipment that you
purchased elsewhere, you are on your own to have it repaired or replaced, whereas with a
purchase from us would mean that we have a commitment to make every
effort to help you get the issue resolved if possible. And we

If you just feel you have a deal too good to be true for new
equipment, give us a chance to make you one of our many
happy & loyal customers before you give you credit card
number to someone out of State or even worse, out of the
country. Then we can see if you are REALLY getting what they have
told you, such as correct sizing, color, model # and all the
product features, and warranty. "Bait &
Switch" is very common with diving equipment and if you have the opportunity
to visit some of the divers chat rooms, this is
all to familiar. In exchange, we'll tell you what the
cost would be if you bought the same items from us with our
