Our "Discover Diving Program" has been around for the last 25 years, but has several added benefits for new Students.Here are 10 of the most important reasons AND benefits for OUR students becoming certified Divers at Rick's Dive 'N Travel Center! (1) We've been in business since 1978 and have certified
over 8,000 divers at Rick's Dive 'N Travel Center and is rated one of the
Top 10 Dive Centers in the United States by the Diving Equipment (2) Our Students have Free use of our indoor heated pool whenever they desire, space permitting, not only during your class but even after your certification too. (We will allow those certified at other locations to use our pool to for $25 for each visit). (3) After you have completed ANY class at Rick's Dive 'N Travel Center, you can "audit" the same class as a refresher ANYTIME at NO EXTRA CHARGE. (4) Rick's students receive a reduced rate each time they participate in Open Water Training Dives from our 40' Dive Boat on Lake Ouachita. (5) Our Professional staff of Instructors is not only the largest in the State but certify more students than any other facility in Arkansas, which gives our students the overall diving experience and education to benefit our students. (6) Our students have the option to use their own diving system if they have purchased it from us with the assistance of one our staff members.
(8) Don't forget you may also receive college credit for most of our courses too. (9) One on One extra tutoring in the pool or class if necessary (10) WE KNOW DIVING SELECT YOUR CERTIFICATION OPTIONS: Class & Pool sessions meet at Rick's two days a week for two weeks:
Each of these formats requires FOUR Open Water fun dives, over two days for certification. This is a PADI International standard requirement. Your Open Water options at Rick's include ONE of the following options: (1) Completing the Open Water dives over a weekend at a local lake during the Summer months May thru October (2) Join us on one of our inexpensive trips to the Florida Springs, November thru April THE CHOICES ARE YOURS!!!

personal snorkeling equipment (rentals available if necessary) and the
Open Water rental fee is not included in the tuition as many of our
students purchase their own diving system from us prior to the Open Water and
you will receive a tuition rebate. (see staff for details). Rick's stocks the largest selection of snorkeling & scuba equipment in

rebates on their snorkeling equipment & diving packages. Our
professional diving staff will custom fit you to make sure you are
satisfied with your purchase. At Rick's you also have the
opportunity to make sure your selected items fit correctly by trying them

This is the newest addition to our Millennium Diver Education Programs! Designed for those who have a desire to learn to scuba
dive, but have "hard to fit schedules" OR those who may want a more one-on-one
personalized instruction. You have the opportunity to complete the
majority of the academic portion in the comforts of your home before
scheduling your pool sessions. The four fun certification dives are
usually conducted with your instructor over a weekend.
As with all of our entry level programs, appropriate snorkeling
equipment and our Open Water Rental package must be provided by each
student. Give us a call today to discuss other options! If you are
interested in purchasing your diving system prior to your Open Water Dives
we will credit up to $150 of your tuition. See our staff for more

We offer male and female instructors for your consideration and employ a
PADI Course Directors on staff along with several PADI Master Instructors,
& PADI Master Diver Trainers. All of our instructors are CPR and First Aid
Certified and have available a complete first aid and Oxygen kit during
all of our Open Water diving activities
