Service Department
Rick's Dive 'N Travel Center is a Factory
Authorized Warranty Service Center for all of the brands we represent. Our
Repair Technicians are factory trained and highly skilled. Rick's criteria for
servicing life support equipment are the highest standards in the diving
industry. We use manufactures recommended repair kits and factory
parts for all service. This results in "like new" performance and reliability
after each annual service. We also warrant all new manufacturers parts for one
year and a 90-day guarantee on our labor. Rick's Techs will gladly give
you a quote for service on your equipment and will notify you prior to service
of anything out of the ordinary, that is found during our diagnosis.

Remember to bring in your warranty cards and/or proof of purchase
receipts along with past service history documentation if
your regulator is being serviced under the manufacturers
"warranty" program. For

Analyzing
Nitrox CylindersChuck is a PADI Divemaster who has been diving since 1998 and
understands the importance of maintaining safe and reliable diving equipment. He
is also a valued part of our training team, along with his able assistants Mike
Gordon and Chuck Socia, who help keep our service department running smoothly
and equipment completed in a timely manner. We service most brands of diving
equipment at reasonable rates. If you have a question about your equipment or it

Some of the services we provide
include:

VIP's........................
Cylinder visual inspections, which should be done yearly utilizing our new
visual inspection system called the Visual Plus. This system uses an eddy
current testing which detects cylinder cracks that are invisible to the
human eye.

We are a Professional Scuba Inspection Station
- HYDRO...................... Required
service every five years by DOT standards.
- Regulator Service........Completed on an
annual basis to maintain warranties.
- BCD Service............... We service your
inflator, leak test, overpressure valves, straps, buckles and a
comprehensive leak test.
- Computer Service........Battery replacement
and gauge wet test.
- Nitrox Service............. Designed to
upgrade your equipment to be compatible or we can service your current
Nitrox Equipment.
- RUSH Service..............While we always
try to have your equipment ready within 3 working days, we do have SAME
DAY RUSH SERVICE available, or we will provide you with a
"loaner" if necessary. "While we understand everybody wants
their equipment YESTERDAY, we do it right the first time so you can dive with peace of mind".
Special Note on Scuba Tanks:
Rick's Dive 'N Travel Center utilizes the "Visual Plus Eddy
Current" technology to check for neck cracks in aluminum cylinders. This
method enables us to detect cracks and imperfections that cannot be seen with
the naked eye. Because we have found numerous cylinders with cracks, that would
not have been seen with the typical "Visual Inspection", we now
require that any tank brought to us for filling, must have the Visual Plus
inspection or equivalent, sticker present on the cylinder. This is for your
protection and safety as well as ours. For more information on Cylinder
