Technical Diving Rick's
recently had several of their PADI Scuba Instructors complete various
courses in technical scuba diving in Mexico. PADI Instructor Renee
Power and George McCulley
completed their Technical Nitrox Certification while in Akumal, Mexico.
With this specialized training, the divers are permitted to plan and
execute dives up to 190 feet. PADI Instructor Tony
Lee completed his Full Cave Certification course in various Cenotes
(freshwater caves) in Akumal, including Sac Actun, Carwash, The Temple of
Doom and The Maya Blue. PADI Course Director Sandy
Carroll and Master Scuba Diver Phillip Joiner provided technical
assistance and support while pleasure diving the Cenotes also.
